The cold trap of XY-SGY series freeze-drying machine is separated from the box and is connected by an air flow channel. Equipment below uses an integrated horizontal cold trap. The larger equipment cold trap is installed behind the box.
设备容器材料为AISI 316L 不锈钢。冷阱容器内部机械抛光至<0.75μmRa 。
接管有一定的倾斜度,以确保液体的排出,长径比小于6:1。
冷阱保温采用聚合发泡材料或聚合发泡材料与玻璃纤维的混合材料,外覆金属板装饰。
冷阱侧面安装一个带照明的直径150mm (6") 观察镜。

The vessel is fabricated from AISI 316L stainless steel. The internal surfaces of the condenser vessel are mechanically polished to <0.75mRa.
Nozzles are pitched to ensure drainage of liquids and have an aspect ratio less than 6:1 to ensure sterilisation should this option be included.
The condenser vessel is externally insulated with a polymer foam insulation and clad with sheet metal to protect the insulation material.
An illuminated 150mm (6") sight glass is fitted to the side of the condenser body.
A low point drain is fitted in the condenser. The drain is fitted with a welded mesh cover to prevent ice blocking the drain.
A spray ball(s) is fitted in the roof of the condenser to spray hot water for removal of ice at the end of the process.
The condensing surface within the condenser body comprises a number of polished 316L stainless steel tubes welded to form a series of coils, configured to allow oil drainage. The coils have an external finish of <0.75mRa. A series of coils are manifolded in parallel to form a coil circuit. Each circuit is cooled by the direct expansion of refrigerant gas supplied by a dedicated compressor. The number of circuits and compressors varies between Lyomax models, however the condensing surface area of all models is at least equivalent to the shelf surface area to provide optimum condenser performance during peak sublimation.
